Juan Carlos is a Senior Policy Analyst at Secure AI Project. He previously served as a law clerk at the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice for nearly four years and taught a course on Law, Internet and AI at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He has also worked on personal data protection law and international trade law, and as a researcher on online content moderation and disinformation. Juan Carlos holds an M.A. in Global Affairs from Yale as a Fulbright-García Robles Scholar and a B.A. in Law from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM).
